Identity, Diversity, and Bias

Duration: Ninety minutes.
Grades: Suitable for teachers, professional development programs, and students in grades nine through twelve.

This interactive program explores issues of identity, diversity, and bias. It begins by looking at our own identities and how they increase and decrease in visibility, sometimes by our choice, sometimes by another’s choice, depending on the situation we find ourselves in. The program also discusses how bias affects how we see (or do not see) the identities of others and how this affects the possibility for inclusion and belonging in our communities.
