From November 1, 2016 through November 15, 2016, the Holocaust and Human Rights Center of Maine (HHRC) will be holding an online auction through “Bidding for Good.”
With the holiday season right around the corner, we know you’ll be on the lookout for fun gifts for friends and family. The HHRC’s online auction is a wonderful opportunity to take home some wonderful gifts while also supporting the work of the HHRC!
Whether you’re looking for a weekend getaway, unique antiques, or beautiful artwork, the HHRC’s on-line auction has something for everyone.
Items include: collectibles, like Royal Doulton figurines and an antique, hand-hammered copper bowl from Israel; original art work; gift certificates to businesses throughout Maine; performance tickets; overnight packages, including a stay at the Log Cabin Inn on Bailey Island, three nights in the eclectic East Village in New York City, a romantic getaway to a chalet at Sugarloaf, including two 1-day Adult lift passes; and more!

All proceeds from the online auction will benefit the educational programming of the HHRC. The HHRC is a statewide organization offering free educational outreach, compelling programming, rotating exhibition, and teacher training. Located in the beautiful Michael Klahr Center on the campus of the University of Maine at Augusta, the HHRC is open 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday – Friday or by appointment.
