About the Play

A Project of the HHRC in partnership with UMA’s Veteran Achievement Project, with support from UMA, The Maine Arts Commission, the Maine Humanities Council, UMA’s Diversity Committee, the UMA Student Activities and SGA programs, Easter Seals Maine’s Veterans Count, and veteran services organizations and veterans across Maine.  

Warning: The Lonely Soldier contains harsh language; descriptions of war, sexual harassment and abuse; and military sound effects such as bombs exploding and guns being fired that some may find objectionable. This play is not recommended for students under the age of 16.
