Unless otherwise posted, The Michael Klahr Center is open:
Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. throughout the year.
We’re happy to arrange for weekend and after-hours visits for your group, just ask!
The Michael Klahr Center is closed on national holidays and on days when the University of Maine at Augusta is closed. In the event of a snow storm, or other weather event, the Klahr Center will be closed when the UMA campus is closed.
In general, visitors to the Klahr Center can see Michael’s Story, Were The House Still Standing, Judith Glickman Lauder’s photographic exhibit The Past is Present, and any temporary exhibits in place at the time of your visit. However, it’s important to note that the Klahr Center frequently hosts workshops, meetings, programs, and school visits, and not all exhibits or spaces are available at all times.
If you’re planning a visit, it’s advisable to call or email first to find out what’s scheduled in the center on the date and time of your visit.
